The Canal du Nivernais is a 5-minute walk away. : a romantic meandering canal with 180 kilometers of cycling/walking, passing more than 110 locks and lockkeeper’s houses.
You can do your shopping in Chatillon en Bazois, 6 kilometres away.
Lake Baye (swimming, boating, relaxing) is 9 kilometres away.

 

In addition to the beautiful nature, La Nièvre offers a wealth of culture and history. The bocage landscape, numerous rivers, great lakes and vast forests in the regional nature reserve of Le Morvan. Historic towns like Clamecy, La Charité sur Loire and the lively capital Nevers. And all those castles!

Not forgetting the famous wine region of Pouilly-sur-Loire. And also the wines from the Côtes de la Charité and from Tannay.
